This Privacy Policy explains how Ezda (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use our mobile application, website and services (together, the “Service”). We are a company established in France and apply the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French data protection law. 2. When does this policy apply?

This Policy applies when you browse our website, create and use an Ezda account, act as a Buyer and/or Seller, use our mobile app, chat and appointment tools, AI features, contact support, or receive our communications. It does not apply to how other users handle your data outside Ezda.

3. What data do we collect?

3.1 Data you give us directly

Identification/contact details, professional and verification data, content/transaction data, technical and usage data. We do not store full payment card numbers or security codes.

3.2 Data we collect automatically

Device, OS, app version, browser, IP and region, logs, crash reports, performance, behaviour in aggregated/pseudonymised form.

3.3 Location data

Precise location when allowed, or approximate via IP. You can disable location in device settings.

3.4 Data from cookies/technologies

Cookies or similar tech for security, performance, analytics/personalisation where applicable; see Cookie Policy/cookie settings.

3.5 Data from third parties

Identity verification providers (status/risk signals), payment providers (payment status), analytics/advertising partners (aggregated/pseudonymised), and public sources for company registers.

4. Why do we use your data and on what legal basis?

5. How long do we keep your data?

We keep data only as long as needed, then delete or anonymise. Indicative periods: accounts up to ~5 years after closure; KYC/company up to ~5 years or longer if required; listings/media while active, then archived up to ~5 years; chats/appointments up to ~5 years after closure; payments/invoices up to ~10 years per French law; logs/security a few months up to ~2 years; marketing until unsubscribe or inactivity. Longer retention may apply for suspected fraud/disputes within legal limits.

6. Who do we share your data with?

We do not sell personal data.

6.1 Other Ezda users

They may see your profile, listings, trips, ratings, deal outcomes. Private contact details are not shown unless you share them.

6.2 Our service providers

Cloud/infra, KYC, payments, analytics/crash reporting, communications, security/anti-fraud, support. Contracts ensure confidentiality, security, GDPR alignment.

6.3 Authorities and legal partners

Shared when required/allowed by law; lawyers/auditors/consultants as needed.

6.4 Business transfers

Data may transfer in mergers/acquisitions/reorganisations with continued protection and notice where required.

7. International transfers

Data may be stored/accessed outside the EEA. Safeguards include adequacy decisions, SCCs, and additional measures as needed.

8. Your rights

Rights may include access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection (to legitimate interests or marketing), withdrawal of consent, and post-mortem instructions (France). 9. Security

Measures include encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, secure development, logging and monitoring, backups. No system is 100% secure; choose strong passwords, don’t share credentials, log out on shared devices, and alert us of unauthorised access.

10. Children

Ezda is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children; if discovered, we delete it. Contact us if you believe a child has an account.
